Rokka: Braves of the Six Flowers

Really Rokka? You’re gonna end like that?

This damn show started off with strong potential but then went down hill half way through by wasting so much time figuring out who the fake brave member was. The series hasn’t even progressed its main plot! By the end of the show, ANOTHER fucking fake shows up. I really wanted to like this show. A fantasy anime with chosen characters based on destiny or whatever strong enough to fight against a great incoming evil is always a nice welcome. Having a fake member infiltrating the main cast is a nice twist but it’s stretched waaaaayyyy too long to the point where the pacing severely suffered. Even the animation quality suffered quite extensively throughout random eps. Oh Rokka, what a disappointment you’ve become.

By the way, Flamie (or Fremy, however you wanna spell her name) made the show worth watching. Watching her grow out of her shell was a treat!

I highly doubt a 2nd season will come. If it does, I’ll probably watch it, cautiously.

Do I recommend this show? Eh… No, for now.
