music review: lynch – EXODUS-EP

Everything I ever wanted from lynch’s new release. These guys have been very consistent with their style. I wanted head banging metal music with melodic tunes I can hum to and this delivers perfectly. Six tracks total in this mini album. Why can’t musicians do this more often? I often get sick of full length album because I only end up remembering 3 or 4 tracks and have less free time to replay them.

The two noteworthy tracks are ASHES and NIGHT, Both songs heavy and catchy making it perfect for driving and stress relieving. It’s a great blend of screams/growls and singing, neither one overpowering the other. Need some quality jrock band for a listen, lynch is the way to go. This may have been the only album I’ve been excited for this year other than LUNA SEA’s stuff.

TRACKLIST:

1. EXODUS

2. ASHES

3. VANISH

4. BE STRONG

5. INVINCIBLE

6. NIGHT

Rating: 10/10
